The product

Three things, said plainly.

What it is

A purchase, not a loan

We buy a portion of your future receivables for an agreed amount today, between $100 and $5,000. You remit that portion as revenue arrives, so a slow week is a smaller remittance.

What it costs

One figure, fixed at the start

The cost is a single amount agreed before you accept, not a rate that accrues. It does not grow if the term runs long, and there is nothing to pay for checking what you qualify for.

What it is not

Not consumer credit

Offered for commercial purposes only — never for personal, family or household use — and not available in California or New York. A Revenue Purchase Agreement governs the transaction, and its cost is never expressed as an APR.

How it works

Three steps, and you can stop at any of them.

  1. A document passed across a desk
Two minutesName, business, revenue, amount. No documents to upload at this stage.
    01

Tell us the shape of the business

How long you have traded, what comes in each month, and how much you are asking for. Two minutes, and nothing is submitted until you have read it back.

  2. Business reports and a coffee on a desk
A soft lookChecking your options is not a credit application and does not affect your score.
    02

We check it against the funders

Your file goes to the purchasers whose criteria it actually fits, rather than to everyone at once. Looking costs nothing and leaves your credit file untouched.

  3. Two people shaking hands across a desk
In writing firstThe Revenue Purchase Agreement states the full cost before you accept it.
    03

You read the terms, then decide

One fixed cost, one remittance schedule, in writing before you sign. If it is not right, nothing happens — we never ask for a fee in advance.

The arithmetic

What it looks like on one advance.

There is no interest to accrue and no APR to quote, so the whole cost can be written down as a single figure before you agree to it. This is how that reads on a $2,500 advance.

An illustrative estimate, not an offer or a decision. Your figures depend on your revenue and on the purchaser, and meeting our minimums does not guarantee an offer.

Who it’s for

Businesses that already work.

Not startups raising a round. Shops, trades, studios and routes with revenue arriving every week and a reason to bring next month’s takings forward — stock before a season, a van off the road, a payroll that lands before an invoice clears.

Where it goes

Ordinary decisions, brought forward.

Nothing here is a growth strategy. It is the week’s work, paid for before the money that covers it has finished arriving.

On the record

Four things that never happen here.

  1. 01

    Never a fee before funding

Formalle does not ask for a payment in exchange for a promise of funding. Anyone who does is not us.

  2. 02

Never a credit hit to look

Reviewing your options is a soft look. Nothing about checking affects your score.

  3. 03

    Never a consumer product

Commercial purposes only — never personal, family or household use, and never dressed up as a personal loan.

  4. 04

    Never an APR in disguise

The cost is one fixed figure agreed up front. If someone quotes you a rate on this product, the product has changed.

Questions

The ones worth asking.

Is this a loan?

No. Formalle arranges the purchase of a portion of your future receivables under a Revenue Purchase Agreement. Nothing accrues interest, and the cost is never expressed as an annual percentage rate.

What does it cost?

A single fixed amount, agreed in writing before you accept. It does not change if the term runs longer than expected, and we never ask for a fee in advance of funding.

Will checking affect my credit?

No. Reviewing your options is a soft look. A purchaser may run its own checks later, and you would be told before that happens.

How much can I ask for?

Between $100 and $5,000. What is offered depends on your revenue — meeting the stated minimums does not guarantee an offer.

Who qualifies?

Businesses and self-employed people trading at least 3 months with monthly revenue from $5,000, for commercial purposes only. We do not fund in California or New York.

How fast is it?

The request takes about two minutes. How quickly a purchaser responds depends on the file, and no one here will promise you a number of hours we do not control.
